Oscar de la Renta
Oscar de la Renta, left his native Dominican Republic at 18 years of age to study painting at the Academy of San Fernando in Madrid. While living in Spain, he became interested in the world of design and began sketching for leading Spanish fashion houses, which soon led to an apprenticeship with Spain’s most renowned couturier, Cristóbal Balenciaga. Later, Oscar de la Renta left Spain to join Antonio Castillo as a couture assistant at the house of Lanvin in Paris. In 1963, Oscar de la Renta came to New York to design the couture collection for Elizabeth Arden. In 1965, Mr. de la Renta began his signature ready-to-wear label.

Dr. Lee Nadler
After receiving his M.D. from Harvard Medical School in 1973, Dr. Nadler completed his internship and residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital. In 1975, he joined the National Cancer Institute’s Immunology Branch as a Clinical Associate. In 1977, he joined Dana Farber as a Clinical Fellow in the Division of Medical Oncology and Tumor Immunology, becoming a Full Professor in 1992. He served as the first Chief of Dana-Farber’s Division of Hematologic Malignancies, first Chair of the Department of Adult Oncology, and is currently Senior Vice President for Clinical and Translational Research. Dr. Nadler is Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a member of the American Society of Clinical Investigation and the American Association of Physicians. He was the 1998 recipient of the AACR Richard and Hinda Rosenthal Foundation Award and the 2002 AACR-Joseph H. Burchenal Clinical Research Award.
